Bruce Wayne “Moon” Falde, age 55, of Winsted, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.
He was born Nov. 6, 1957, in Minneapolis, the son of Levi and Martha Falde.
Bruce honorably served his country in the United States Army.
He was formerly employed in assembly at Landscape Structures in Delano.
Bruce enjoyed Harley Davidsons, and loved Hershey chocolate, potato skins, and Folgers instant coffee.
He is survived by two daughters, Camie (Matt) Malone of Jordan, and Hannah Falde and fiancé Sean Bard of St. Cloud; two grandchildren; his mother, Martha Falde of Winsted; brothers and sisters, Richard (Pam) Falde of Montrose, Tim (Karen) Falde of Delano, Dean (Joni) Falde of Buffalo, Roger (Diana) Falde of Mahtomedi, Sandra (Stan) Kalinowski of San Diego, CA, Becky (Dan) Heimerl of Lester Prairie, Ron (Janell) Falde of Brooklyn Park, and Gary (Julie) Falde of Maple Plain; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great, great nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Levi Falde, Dec. 13, 1995; and by a son, Larry Falde, in 1996.
Funeral services took place Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with Father Eugene Brown officiating. There was a time of gathering beginning at noon, prior to the services at the funeral home.
Interment with military rites will take place Monday, March 18 at 11:30 a.m. at assembly area 2 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Bruce’s brothers were his casket bearers: Richard, Tim, Dean, Roger, Ron, and Gary Falde.
