Dorothy J. Fasching, age 86, formerly of Bloomington, was called home to be with our Lord Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 12:15 p.m. at the Church of St. Richard, 7540 Penn Ave. S. in Richfield. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. Gill Brothers, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S. in Bloomington, and will continue Wednesday, one hour prior to the Mass at the church.

Dorothy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Bernard; children: Karen (Rodger) Colsen, Ken (Claudine) Fasching, Judy (Kurt) Ericksen, Jan (Bill) Henderson, and Denise (Marlo) Peterson; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and siblings Fr. Gerald Keefe and Evelyn Sexton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Mary Keefe; a sister, Mary Stifter; brothers Gervase, Daniel and Jerome Keefe; and in-laws, Dorothy Keefe, Iley Sexton, and Casey Stifter.
Dorothy’s passion in life was her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her fun-loving nature, and her love of sports.
She will be missed most deeply.
