Mary Kay Greeno, age 67, of Delano, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo, surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo; and will continue Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mary was born March 13, 1946, in St. Cloud, to Henry and Valeria (Weyer) Lutgenin
She was a daycare provider for 20 years, and also worked at the Wright County Courthouse in Buffalo.
Mary served as a den leader for the Cub Scouts, as well as being a Girl Scout leader.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, traveling, puzzle work, and sewing.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Harold.
She is survived by a son, Darrin Greeno of Buffalo; daughters Brenda Schroeder of Buffalo, and Christy (Rodney) Teichert of Monticello; grandchildren Trevor Schroeder, Jordan Schroeder, Katelin Schroeder, Grant Schroeder, and Dylan Teichert; brothers and sisters Rita (LeRoy Olson) Habiger of Glenwood, Dennis (Jean Kidd) Lutgen of Minneapolis, Michael (Judy) Lutgen of Rockville, Larry (Pat Lindsley) Lutgen of Seattle, WA, James (Marion Mann) Lutgen of Bovy, JoAnn Lutgen of St. Cloud, Roger (Donna) Lutgen of Albany, Teresa (Brian) Klinkner of St. Cloud, Mark Lutgen of Seattle, WA, John (Lisa) Lutgen of Waite Park, Susan (Sam) White of St. Cloud, and Janet (Tracy) Siemers of Sartell; and many nieces and nephews.
