Loretta M. Lee, age 82, of Winsted, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at St. Mary’s Care Center, Winsted.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Winsted, to Herman and Clara (Neumann) Scheiber.
Loretta married Kenneth Lee June 14, 1952, in Winsted. They farmed near Litchfield for 20 years.
Together, they had a vegetable garden for many years and, in their later years, they enjoyed a flower garden.
Loretta retired from Edco Products.
She truly enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth; grandson Jeremy Fiecke; son-in-law Ronald Koch; and sister Geraldine.
She is survived by her children, Marlys (Thomas) Williams of Beaumont, TX, Randall (Lynn) Lee of Chaska, Janice (Jerry) Koch of Winsted, and Debra (Loren) Pelzer of Albany; grandchildren Noel’ (Chad) Kirby, Jeana Constans (Guy Grigsby), Jenny (Brad) Hennen, Kristina Fiecke, Kyle (Melissa) Koch, Todd (Ashley) Koch, Johanna Lee (Peter Lawin), and Timothy Lee; great-grandchildren Alexis Koch, Alaina Koch, Clinton Koch, Kaelen Hennen, Reese Kirby and Chad Kirby Jr.; a brother, Gilbert Scheiber of Delano; and a sister, Virginia Henchmann of Arizona.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. There was visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church, prior to the Mass. Interment was at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted assisted the family with arrangements.
