Katy JoAnn Miller, age 23, of Delano, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1989, in St. Cloud, to Michael and Michele (Schueller) Miller.
Katy was born with a heart condition but lived life to the fullest. She showed no fear and was a spirited individual who dreamed everything was possible. She rode horses, snowboarded, enjoyed cheerleading, played softball and golf, loved to dance, enjoyed cooking for friends and family, loved listening to music, crafts, photography, and loved animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and children.
Katy is survived by her parents. Michael and Michele; siblings Jacob, Sarah, Michael, and Joshua; grandparents Jean and Delbert Schueller, and Roger and Rochelle Miller, and especially her beloved dog and friend, Roxy.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
Visitation of family and friends took place at the church Friday, Oct. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m., and continued Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the Mass. There was also a rosary service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
