Richard W. (Dick) Miller, age 75, of Parkers Prairie, formerly of Spring Lake Park, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. as the result of an accident.
Dick was born Sept. 16, 1938, in Cokato.
He graduated from Dassel High School in 1957. Dick went on to receive his associate’s degree at Anoka Ramsey Community College, and his bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota.
Dick was a 35-year employee of Honeywell.
He was a US Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion.
An avid Minnesota Gopher sports fan, Dick also enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, the Vikings, golfing, and bowling.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, William and Angela; and brother, Edward.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, David, and Debra Hagel; brothers Harold (Helen), and Gordon (Judith); and granddaughters, Emily and Laura Hagel.
The funeral service took place Friday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Fridley, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
