Delano Price, age 71, of Maple Lake, passed away Monday, July 23, 2013, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the Maple Lake area, along with his wife, Lois.
Delano’s funeral service will be Tuesday, July 30 at 7 p.m. at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake, with visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements for Delano are being handled by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake.
He was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Erwin, TN, to James and Decky Price.
Delano moved to Minneapolis in 1959, and lived with his oldest brother, Larry (Joyce) Price.
He was united to marriage to Marlene Baltus June 7, 1962, at Swedlanda Lutheran Church in Hector. This union was blessed with the birth of one son, Keith, and one daughter, Diane.
Delano worked for the Supervalue Warehouse for several years before retiring. He also drove bus for Buffalo and Minnetonka schools.
He later married Lois Raisanen.
Delano was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; a half brother; and a half sister.
He is survived by his children, Keith Price, Diane (Ron) Daniels, all of Buffalo; grandchildren Patricia, Amy, and Andro Price; and Ryan and Robert Daniels; great-grandchildren Shontaia Nguyen and Saiyani Thoek; along with many step-children and step-grandchildren; and one brother, Gerald.
