Dale M. Rasset, age 77, of Montrose, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
He was born Aug. 27, 1936, in Montrose, the son of Cletus and Gladys Pettis Rasset.
Dale graduated from Buffalo High School, and was a United States veteran.
He was joined in holy marriage to Wilma Gramsey June 23, 1956. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Dale was joined in holy marriage to Sandra Joyal July 17, 1987.
Dale was a longtime, former employee of Honeywell, for over 30 years.
He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and farming.
Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Rasset; children: Bruce (Susan) Rasset, Deb Rasset, Liana (Jeff) Otten, Brian (Wanda) Rasset, Kevin (Rose) Rasset, and Carrie (Bill) Berkner; step children Nancy Johnson and Tom (Patty) Joyal; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jay (Marie) Rasset; and other relatives, including Wilma Rasset.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Floyd; and two sisters, Hazel and Marie.
Funeral services took place Friday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, followed by interment at Kreidler Cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday, Dec, 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, and continued Friday, one hour prior to services.
Casket bearers were Aaron Rasset, Ryan Kriesch, Greg Kriesch, Shane Rasset, Brandon Kriesch, Erienne Kriesch, and Richard Jerde.
Arrangements were by the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
