Corinne Mary (Lindenfelser) Rech, age 82, of Dassel, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Waconia.
She was born June 17, 1930, in Albertville, the daughter of Rudolph and Ethel (Jackman) Lindenfelser.
Corinne was a wonderful mother. She loved oil painting and quilting, and enjoyed spending winters in Arizona, as well spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her five children; Rodney (Marlene) Davis of Waconia, Larry (Cheryl) Davis of Watertown, Dianne (Robert) Kenning of Dassel, Janine (Mike) Peterson of Prior Lake, and Jason (Erin) Rech of Waconia; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Kris, Justin, Miranda, Jodie, Amber, Jessica, Christina and Paxton; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Steffens, Jane (Fritz) Widmer, and Millie Freeman; sister-in law Mary Rech; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin, July 10, 2009; her parents; brothers Anthony, Richard, and infant brother Noel; sister Laura; and brothers-in-laws Jim, Victor, and Phil.
Mass of Christian burial took place Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, with Father Joe as the celebrant. Gift bearers were Sheila Steffens and Pam McRae, and Chrysa Olson, Lisa Lindenfelser, and Elaine Weber were readers. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, and continued Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Pallbearers were grandsons Kris Davis and Justin Davis; and nephews Michael Freeman, Curtis Lindenfelser, Paul Widmer, and Lloyd Eicher.
The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael/Albertville, assisted the family with arrangements.
