Richard Dale Russell, age 79, of Montgomery, formerly of Cokato, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Faith Pointe Lutheran Church in New Prague, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Richard was born March 28, 1934, in Cokato, to Mauritz and Mable (Taylor) Russell. He graduated from Cokato High School.
Richard served in the United States Navy, and worked at Munsingwear in Montgomery as a mechanic for 25 years. He also worked at ADC in LeSueur for 16 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Club in Savage, and a past member of the VFW in Montgomery.
Richard enjoyed working, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Richard Jr. and Lisa Russell of Dayton, Mike Russell of New Prague, Steven and Kathy Russell of LeSueur, Dave and Heidi Russell, and Sally Ann and Jeff Simon, all of New Prague; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings Tom Russell, Harry Russell, both of Cokato, Jim Russell, and Lorraine Olson, both of Coon Rapids.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and uncles and aunts.
