Quinn S. Senske Obituary – 10/20/2013


Quinn Scott Senske, age 42, of Glencoe, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at his home.

He was born May 17, 1971, in Glencoe, the son of Terrance and Diane (Haala) Senske. Quinn was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith.

He received his education at Dassel-Cokato High School, graduating with the class of 1989.

Quinn entered active military service in the US Navy Sept. 11, 1989, and served his country during the Persian Gulf War, receiving an honorable discharge.

He furthered his education by attending school in Colorado to become an aviation technician.

Quinn was united in marriage to Tina Kindall Dec. 14, 1995. Quinn and Tina made their home in the state of Washington, then, in 1997, moved to Waconia, and then to Glencoe. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Trent; and three step sons, Christopher, Lee, and Steven.

Quinn held employment as an aviation technician at Northwest, then at Flying Cloud Airport.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially cherished the time spent with his friends and family.

Quinn is survived by his wife, Tina Senske of Glencoe; son Trent of Glencoe; stepsons Christopher Newman (Jessica) of Denver, CO, Lee Newman (Teagan) of Farmington, NM, and Steven Newman (Ariana) of Denver, CO; grandchildren Anthony Newman, Christina Newman, and Illias Newman; his mother, Diane Senske of Cokato; grandmother Emral Haala of Gibbon; sisters Heather Hasti (Richie) of Cokato, and Robyn Schermann (Gary) of Fishers, IN; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Bernetta Senske, and Jerome Haala; father, Terrance Senske; and an infant brother, Brent Senske.

Memorial services took place Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11:30 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Glencoe, with the Rev. Linzy Collins Jr. officiating. Interment followed at the Cokato City Cemetery.
