Adeline “Addie” Martha Vincent, age 83, of Hutchinson, formerly of Dassel, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
She was born Oct. 21, 1929, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Julius and Eva (Totz) Radunz. Addie was baptized as an infant at Friedens Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
She received her education in Kimball, and was a graduate of the Kimball High School class of 1947.
Addie was united in marriage to Lee Martin Vincent May 15, 1949, in Kimball. This marriage was blessed with two daughters, Pamela and Wendy.
Addie and Lee resided in Dassel, and later moved to Hutchinson. They shared 44 years of marriage until Lee passed away March 18, 1993.
Addie was employed at the 3M Company in Hutchinson as an office assistant. She retired Nov. 1, 1989.
She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Darwin, Hutchinson Post 906 VFW Auxiliary, the WELCA Group, and the Hutchinson Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Addie enjoyed movies and watching the Minnesota Twins games. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
Addie is survived by her daughters, Pamela Ann Vincent of Mound, and Wendy Eva Hertel and her husband, Douglas, of North St. Paul; grandchildren Sarah and Joshua Hinck, Lorena, Jessica, Nathanael and Emily Hertel; a brother, Julius Radunz and his wife, Yvonnie of Hutchinson; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Lee, Addie was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Eva Radunz.
Funeral services took place Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hantge Funeral Chapel in Darwin, with interment at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
There was a family gathering at the funeral chapel Saturday, Aug. 17 one hour prior to the service.
