Janice Marie Wegman, age 65, of Delano, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born March 10, 1948, in St. Cloud, to Harold and Orpha Keeler.
Janice was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always thought of others before herself. She loved bingo, going to the casino, and more than anything, spoiling her grandchildren.
She also enjoyed attending the various sporting events of her grandchildren, tend to her flower gardens, and watch the birds at her many bird feeders, especially hummingbirds.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; and parents, Harold and Orpha Keeler.
She is survived by her children, Todd (Barb) Wegman; and Missy (Dan) Lysne; six grandchildren: Nathan, Kayla, Ali, Hailey, Katie, and Cassie; a sister, Karen (Gary) Hertel; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Kevin (Theresa) Wegman, Janet (Larry) Kroska, Carol Wegman, and Carole Wegman
Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano; and continued Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
