John H. Eklund, 86

John H. Eklund, age 86, of Watertown, died Sunday, March 2, 2014.

He was born June 26, 1927, at the family farm on Swede Lake, Carver County, the son of John and Adelaide (Justus) Eklund. John was baptized July 21, 1927, and confirmed June 14, 1943, both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown.

He was also a proud member of the VFW and Legion in Watertown.

The Eklund Farm has been in the family for 154 years. His hope for the farm is that it will be in the family for many more years to come.
