Beverly A. Elsenpeter, age 81, of rural Waverly, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at the Garden House of St. Mary’s in Winsted.
She was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Monticello Township, Wright County, the daughter of LeRoy “Bud” and Christina (McEachern) Perisian.
Beverly was joined in holy marriage with Donald R. Elsenpeter Sept. 5, 1953, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with a daughter, Debbie.
Beverly and Don moved to their farm in Marysville Township, Wright County in July of 1954.
Beverly was employed at Honeywell for 36 years (1954-1990).
After Don passed away in 1997, she continued to live on the farm, where she enjoyed working outside, mowing lawn, gardening, puzzles, and playing solitaire.
Beverly was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo for 53 years.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Curtis Marks of Lester Prairie; a grandson, Eric Marks of Crystal; a sister, Dorothy (Bob) Schindler of Buffalo; a sister-in-law, Jean Carlson of Mound; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Don, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy “Bud” and Christina Perisian; and brothers and sisters, Albert Perisian, Mildred “Millie” Bonk, Janette Elsenpeter, and Allen Perisian.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo, with the Rev. Ted Vanderpan officiating. Holly Husom was vocalist for the service. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 20 at the church, one hour prior to services.
Casket bearers were Rick Bonk, Dan Elsenpeter, Jim Glunz, Gary Perisian, Fred Bonk, and Bob Kuhlmann.
