Ramona (Mona) Rita (Lawniczak) Fasching, 46, of Hopkins, passed away after a lifelong battle of poor health Monday, April 28, 2014, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
She was born Dec. 2, 1967, in Winsted.
Ramona was a 1985 graduate of St. Louis Park High School.
She will be remembered for her love of animals and life itself. Although having many health issues, Ramona could only see love in life and in others.
She enjoyed swimming whenever she got the opportunity.
Growing up, Mona got to spend a lot of time with her grandmother, Celestine Fasching. They were very close and enjoyed one another’s company.
Mona liked to laugh. If there was something that tickled her funnybone, she had a contagious laugh, and you would just have to laugh with her.
Ramona is survived by her father, Louis Fasching; her brother, Steven Fasching; aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents Albert and Celestine Fasching.
A memorial service took place Saturday, May 10 at The Church of St. Raphael in Crystal, to celebrate Ramona’s life.
