Elizabeth A. Froberg, age 86, of Waconia and Minnetonka, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2014.
She battled Alzheimer’s Disease and was cared for at Good Samaritan Care Center in Howard Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church in Deephaven, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
Elizabeth and her husband, Raymond Sr. will be interned together in Hillside Cemetery, Carlton, MN Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association, or Good Samaritan of Howard Lake.
Elizabeth was born March 24, 1928, to Herbert James and Evelyn (Melchoir) Wood.
She loved the outdoors; gardening, camping, bird watching and traveling.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Raymond Froberg Sr; her parents; brother-in-law Bud Thomas; and grandchild Susan Severson.
She is survived by special friend John Gibson of Winnepeg, Ontario; daughters Kathy Stovern, Sandy Brogren (Karl), and Mary Severson (Frederick); son Raymond Froberg Jr. (Mary); 11 grandchildren, Sarah and Derek Stovern (Tami), Kirsten and Kirk Brogren (Fabiana), Karen Omlung (Tashi), Elizabeth Guentzel (Joseph), Kara, Larissa and Madison Froberg, Alan and Laura Smith; and seven great-grandchildren Shelby, Brady, Abby and Lydia Stovern, Lily and Livia Omlung and Blake Guentzel.
Elizabeth is further survived by her brother, James Wood (Catherine); and sisters Helen Thomas and Kathleen Kerber (Harry).
