Charles (Chuck) Ghostley, age 82, of Loretto, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23, 2014, at his home.
He was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Minneapolis, to Frank and Florence (Brown) Ghostley.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother Edwin; and brothers-in-law Edmund “Jack” Roehl, Norman Georges, and Bob Arens.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eleanore; children Mark (Jan), Carla (Jeff) Schaber, David (Lisa), and Andrea (John) Otto; nine grandchildren: Jesse Ghostley, Josh Ghostley, Chad Ghostley, Nicole Walker, Seth Walker, Samantha Ghostley, Andrew Ghostley, James Otto, and Max Otto; two great-grandchildren, Aidyn Cardinal and Mason Ghostley; a brother, Gary (Diane); sisters-in-law Eleanor (Ellie) Ghostley, Marian Roehl, and Corinne Georges; brothers-in-law Donald (Millie) Arens, and Richard (Rozanne) Arens; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, followed by interment with military honors in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday, June 26 from 4 to 9 p.m at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, and continued Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
The Iten Funeral Home in Delano handled the arrangements.
