Brett Alexander Lorentzen, age 22, of Delano, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014.
He was born Nov. 10, 1991, in Minneapolis, to Richard and Robyn (Oveson) Lorentzen.
Brett possessed the best smile; he had the kind of personality that could change a room simply by his being there. He was an accomplished athlete, who loved to play golf, hockey or baseball.
Brett also loved to spend time with his family, going on family trips up north for tubing, water skiing, and fishing.
He is survived by his fiancée, Alli Henriquez; father Richard Lorentzen and friend Shannon Barrett; mother Robyn Lorentzen and friend Gaston Bravo; brothers Jake Lorentzen and Jack Lorentzen; grandparents Ted Lorentzen, Mary Lorentzen, Larry Oveson, Mary Bartlett and Jack Bartlett; godparents Robert Oveson and Jill Downs; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, June 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, following a gathering of family and friends in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
