Monica Ann Neaton, age 84, of Watertown, passed away Sunday April 27, 2014, at the Elim Home in Watertown.
She was born July 22, 1929, in Watertown, to Paul and Veronica (Pilgram) Kuka.
Monica was an avid card player, especially 500 and bridge. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Edward Gallus; son Thomas Gallus; and brothers Joe, Archie, and Tom Kuka.
Monica is survived by her husband, James Neaton; children Gerry Gallus, Stephen (Amy) Gallus, Bob (Gail) Gallus, Terry Gallus, and Bridget Neaton; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Cora, Alex, Josh, Zach, Ben, Jennifer and David Gallus; sister Mary (Don) Speckel; and sisters-in-law Marion Kuka and Mary Ann Kuka.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. Interment was at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday April 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, with a 3:30 p.m. rosary, and 7:30 p.m. prayer service; and continued Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the Mass.
Arrangements were handled by the Iten Funeral Home in Watertown.
