Gage Mitchel Underdahl, age 39, of Maple, Plain passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 2, 2014, at the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
He was born Sept. 12, 1974, in Edina, to John and Sherry (Johnson) Underdahl.
Gage had a passion for the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, do shooting sports, but especially to spend time with his friends and family. He was known for his “moseying in the woods,” sapping and hunting morel mushrooms.
A loyal friend, Gage was always welcoming to anyone. He possessed the ability to make new friends, at anytime, anywhere.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; an infant sister, Angel; his uncle Milt; and grandparents Ivan and Millie Underdahl, and Lyle and Suzy Johnson.
Gage is survived by his wife, Julie; children, J.T. and Shea; mother Sherry Underdahl; siblings Lane (Kathy) Underdahl, Wade Underdahl, and Shanna (Jake) Dombrovski; parents-in-law Wade and Sheri Galloway; sister-in-law Chris (Brian) Quast; and aunts and uncles Jan and Dave Lundquist, Carol and Scott Berkey, and Diane and Jim Whitehead.
Memorial services took place Friday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake, with a gathering of family and friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Pheasants Forever or Ducks Unlimited.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
