Kaylia Adalynn Boltz, age 3, daughter of Lanae Boltz of Cokato and Joseph Boltz of Montrose, formerly of Howard Lake, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born Aug. 29, 2012, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Joseph A. and Lanae M. (Dahl) Boltz.
Kaylia was a sweet blessing to all who had the privilege of loving her. With a fun, joyful spirit, she captured hearts with her exuberant smile and never-ending snuggles. Her delightful giggles were a contagious gift to so many.
She will be remembered for being a very observant and intellectual little girl. Flashing her big eyes and gleeful smile, Kaylia would often humorously lead her sisters into mischief. Her loving presence will be deeply missed.
Kaylia is survived by her loving family: mother Lanae Boltz of Cokato; father Joseph Boltz of Montrose; siblings Kinsley Boltz and Nevaeh Boltz; grandparents Sandra (Thomas) Kvistad of Dassel, William Dahl of Grand Portage, Lisa Boltz of Montrose, Bradley Boltz of Annandale; great-grandparents Dan Gapen Sr., Mavonne and Robert Dahl, Alice Kvistad, and Gertrude Pettit; and aunts and uncles Tiffani Severson and Tim Schlueter, Brent Dahl, Brianna Dahl, Jake and Chelsia Checkal, Lydia Dahl, Derek and Leah Ernst, Kyle and Raiah Smith, Bradley Jr. and Janine Boltz, Lisa Becker, Brett and Melinda Boltz, Brian and Tammy Boltz, Adam and Shanna Boltz, Joshua and Alicia Boltz, Caleb Boltz and LeRae Self, Rachael and Conor Cote, Whitney and Isaac Kvistad, Chase Kvistad, Chelsea and Mark Diesslin, Forrest and Jennifer Kvistad, Cody Kvistad, and Cali Kvistad.
She is further survived by cousins Alex, Madison, Lillian, Charlotte, Naomi, Annabelle, Surina, Elliot, Emmett, Jaden, Arianna, Bennett, Lucas, Gabriella, Jaxson, Luke, Ezra, Kashton, Dakota, Kylah, Christian, Aleah, Sabrina, Sammy, Jordan, Jammie, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Meghan, Brianna, Alissa, and Tyler; and many other relatives.
Kaylia was preceded in death by great-grandparents Walter and Beverley Lindgren, John Kvistad, Donald Pettit, and Orville and LaVerne Boltz.
Her funeral service took place Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Watertown Evangelical Free Church in Watertown, followed by interment at the Watertown Public Cemetery.
Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, and continued Sunday at the church one hour prior to the service.
