Christopher Thomas Dossett, 64, of Lester Prairie, was called to his eternal rest Monday, March 16, 2015, at his home.
He was born June 28, 1950, in Glencoe, the son of Neal and Cynthia Dossett. Chris was baptized and later confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Lester Prairie.
Chris attended Lester Prairie Public School for his k-12 education, a member of the class of 1968. He furthered his education by obtaining a bachelor of arts degree in English from St. Cloud State University.
Chris was united in marriage to Helen Kruschke April 15, 1972, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. The couple made their home in St. Cloud for one year, and then returned to Lester Prairie.
Chris spent his years of employment working locally at Lester’s Inc., and then in Becker at Structural Buildings. He retired in 2011 due to health issues.
During his active years, Chris enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and traveling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Cynthia Dossett; and father-in-law Ardin Kruschke.
Chris is survived by his wife, Helen; sons Stephen Dossett (wife Sherri LeSarge) of Brooklyn Center, and Matthew Dosset (wife Nicole) of Rice; grandchildren Brett LeSarge, Grant Dossett, Matthew Dossett Jr., and Harley Grace Dossett; and a brother, William Dossett, and wife Suzanne Hamilton of Boulder, CO.
A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
