Ardner “Red” J. Fasching, age 89, of St. Therese New Hope, formerly of Minnetonka, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at home.
He is survived by his loving children, Marlys (Gary) Hansen, Jeanne Swartout, Doris (Tracy) Morrison, and Don Fasching; and is further survived by his grandchildren, Anders (Andrea) Hansen and children, Alexa and Ava; Jill (Chris) Sigstad; Leah (Ryan) Buss and children, Kaelyn and Lila; John Swartout and son, Gavin; Sam Swartout; Brad (Jenni) Morrison and children, Logan and Tyler; Anna (Becca) Herbert-Morrison; Justin Fasching and daughter, Evelyn; Jacob Fasching and Julia Fasching; brother, Bob (Mona) Fasching; and many family and friends.
Red was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann; an infant son, David; his brothers, Tom and Cloud; a daughter-in-law, Julie Hoberg-Fasching and a son-in-law, John Swartout, Jr.
His memorial Mass will take place Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at 11 a.m., at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka, with the Rev. David Ostrowski officiating.
A private interment will take place on a later date.
There will be time to gather with the family one hour prior to the Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Minnetonka.
Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Robbinsdale is in charge of the service arrangements.
Memorials are preferred to the family.
