Jodi Fautsch, 58

Jodi M. (Ditty) Fautsch, 58, of Delano, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

She was born April 11, 1957, the third daughter born to Rich and Donna (Demarais) Ditty.

Jodi graduated from Delano High School in 1975. She enjoyed many activities including band, band council, choir, cheerleading, girls’ softball, D-Club, and pit band. Her senior year she was elected homecoming queen.

After high school, Jodi went to the Minnesota School of Business and worked a variety of clerical and accounting jobs. She continued to play softball and also bowled in ladies league.

Jodi married her husband, Tom, in 1996.

Jodi loved the 4th of July. Living on the parade route brought many family and friends each year.

She also loved to volunteer at the Delano Library, Golden LivingCenter (Delano), and Love INC.

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, Rich and Donna Ditty; her brother, Perry Ditty; brother-in-law Steve Fautsch; and a nephew, Paul Gilmer.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; siblings Rhonda (Greg) Gilmer, Penny (Dave) Sinkel, Shelly (Herb) Koch, Pat (Joe) Motzko, Rick (Ruth) Ditty, and Mike (Mary) Ditty; brother-in-law Mike Fautsch; sister-in-law Liz Fautsch; and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, followed by interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Delano. There was visitation Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano. Visitation continued Thursday, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
