Patricia A. Higus, age 82, of Minnetrista, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at the Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound with Father Tony O’Neill as celebrant of the Mass. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Cemetery.
There will be visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
Casket bearers will be Kevin Castellano, Chris Castellano, Tom Higus, Dan Higus, Bob Castellano, and Jack Henning.

Patricia was born on March 10, 1933, in Watertown, the daughter of Clarence and Ann (Mohrbacher) Segner.
She was united in marriage to Neil L. Higus April 5, 1951. This union was blessed with four children: Linda, Cindy, Dan, and Tom.
Patricia loved her time volunteering at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound.
Family time was very important to her, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Patricia also enjoyed golfing and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Higus; father and mother, Clarenca and Ann Segner; and brothers Richard, Robert, Donald, and Gary Segner.
Patricia is survived by her loving family: children Linda (Jeff) Werner of Montrose, Cindy (Bob) Castellano of Shorewood, Dan Higus, and, Tom Higus, both of Mound; grandchildren Kim Olson, Kevin (Tegan) Castellano, Chris (Leticia) Castellano, and Gigi Castellano; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan Segner of White Bear Lake, Jeri Segner of Owatonna, Beverly and Charlie Clark of Mound, Janice Segner of Plymouth, Herb Bunting of Maple Plain, and Betty Higus of Morton Grove, IL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
