Jesse A. Lange, age 35, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born Oct. 30, 1979, in Waconia, the son of Russell and Judith (Stein) Lange.
Jesse loved life. He treasured his days fishing, riding his three-wheel bike, watching NASCAR, camping, his stuffed animals, and the Twins and Vikings. Some of his most precious times were spent at family gatherings and going to Grandpa and Grandma Stein’s; and he really enjoyed going to Disney World, and loved drinking pop and eating pizza.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Nelson, and Howard and Salome Stein.
He is survived by his loving family: parents Judy and Steve Curfman of Dassel, Russell Lange and Karen Meyer of Delano; brother Shawn Lange (special friend Nicole Mancini) of Dassel; sister Racquel Lange of Glencoe; brother Shea (Nancy) Lange of Watertown; nieces and nephews Ivan Lange, Anthony and Olivia Lange, and Colton Lange; and grandmother Janola Nelson of Milaca.
Jess is further survived by aunts and uncles Pat and Rich Schuler of Watertown, Rosemary Stein of Bloomington, Marvin and Joan Jerde of Watertown, Howard Jr. and Janice Stein of Delano, Jim and Jan Stein of Rockford, Ronnie and Bonnie Strei of New Germany, Perry and Carol Dragt of Litchfield, and Keith and Judy Rademacher of Glencoe; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Monday, Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at Ascension Catholic Church in Norwood Young America with Father Gregory Abbott as celebrant of the Mass. There was visitation from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
Casket bearers are Troy Schuler, Jeff Jerde, Todd Stein, Justin Stein, Randy Stein, and Mark Stein.
