Ray D. “Dan” Moran, age 64, of St. Bonifacius, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at his home in St. Bonifacius.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius, with Father Paul Schumacher as celebrant of the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, April 12 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, and will continue Monday at the church one hour prior to the Mass.
Casket bearers are Sean Minder, Brexton Minder, Frank Marson, Bill Marson, and Pat Dolan.

Ray was born April 3, 1951, in New York City, NY, the son of Raymond D. and Grace M. (Desmond) Moran Sr.
A loving husband, Ray always had a good sense of humor. He loved woodworking, travel, photography, and riding his motorcycle. He also was a big fan of the Drum and Bugle Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Grace Moran; special father Pat McMonigal; sister Sheila O’Brien; and nephew Trevor Kern.
Ray is survived by his loving family: wife Marge; step-daughter Amy Salonek of Denver; sisters Sue Moran and husband Frank Marson of Stacy, and Melissa Moran of Linwood; special family members: mother Minnie McMonigal of St. Paul; brothers Ray McMonigal of St. Paul, and Mike McMonigal of St. Paul; sister Joy (Bill) Minder of St. Paul; nephews and niece Sean, Ryan, Brexton and Kaitlyn Minder; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Lois Johnson of New Germany; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Karen Gorz of St. Paul, Tom Johnson of Minneapolis, and Roger Johnson of St. Paul; and other relatives and friends.
