Jeffrey Paul Nothnagel, age 58, of Buffalo, passed away peacefully Friday, March 13, 2015, following a battle with kidney cancer.
Jeff was born Oct. 4, 1956, to George and Patricia (Dearing) Nothnagel.
He married Sue Crandall June 12, 1976, and they were blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.
Jeff worked at J & E Precision Machining in Delano.
He enjoyed being with his family, friends, playing cards, hunting, fishing, bowling, and just having fun. Jeff loved hard, worked hard, and played hard.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Ed and Ruby Crandall.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Jeremy (Sherri) Nothnagel, Jenny (Carl) Carlson, and Sara (Eric) Stemper; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jeremy Jr. and Justin Nothnagel, Cole and Caden Carlson, and Greg and Grady Stemper; siblings, Denny Nothnagel, Patty (Dale) Nygaard, and Tim (Marilee) Nothnagel; sister-in-law Vicki (Mike) McGerr; parents George and Pat Nothnagel; Angie Murray (considered a daughter by the family); and several nieces, nephews, and many friends and other relatives.
The funeral service took place Saturday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at the Rockford Township Hall, with visitation from 3 to 4 p.m., prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank, The Jeff Nothnagel Cancer benefit fund.
Arrangements were with the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
