Harvey William Rehmann, age 75, of Lester Prairie, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 19, 1940, in Winsted, the son of Gilbert and Viola (Pawlak) Rehmann.
Harvey was joined in holy marriage with Lucille S. Habisch Feb. 10, 1962, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with six wonderful children.
Harvey did auto body work with his brother, Denny in Watertown for many years. Then, he was the owner of D&H Auto Body in Winsted.
A fun, caring, and generous man, Harvey was loved by all. He will be missed dearly.
He cherished spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, camping, and playing cards. A major highlight in his life was attending any of his grandchildren’s activities.
Harvey was a member of the Winsted Sportsman’s Club, and also coached Keg’s softball team for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lucy Rehmann; children Kelly (Kevin) Barfknecht of Lester Prairie, Michelle (Jeff) Burkowske of Winsted, Julie (John) Lange of Lester Prairie, Christine (Bret) Stueven of Winsted, Cheryl (Rich) Bayerl, and Greg (Erin) Rehmann all of Lester Prairie; 14 grandchildren: Jenny (Jeff), Tyler, Courtney, Brandon, Nicole, Natalie, Krista, Megan, Loren, Parker, Taylor, Jordan, Allie and Ryder; and three great-grandchildren: Jake, Carter, and Lily.
Harvey is further survived by a sister and brothers: Elaine Gueningsman of Lester Prairie, Dennis (Betty) Rehmann of Winsted, William (Elaine) Rehmann of Watertown, and Phillip (Sharlene) Rehmann of Winsted; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Leonard Gueningsman; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Rose Habisch.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake, with Dr. Tom Rakow officiating.
Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.
Casket bearers were Scott Rehmann, Chad Stueven, Todd Lange, Brad Gebhardt, Scott Moy, and Dean Ruzicka.
