Susan Kay Reich, age 53, of New Germany, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Fort Myers Beach, FL.
She was born March 13, 1962, in Redwood Falls, the daughter of Gerald and Margaret (Lamberton) Neunsinger.
Susan was united in marriage to Gregory Reich Nov. 15, 1986, in Glen Lake.
Susan grew up in Minnetonka. She had worked at Lyman Lumber, Perkins in Minnetonka and Wayzata, American Family and State Farm insurance, and was also a bookkeeper for their business, St. Boni Motor Sports in St. Bonifacius.
For the past eight years, Susan and Greg split their time between Florida and Minnesota.
Susan enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, reading, and fishing; and loved the sun and the beach. She had a brilliant sense of humor and loved socializing.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her loving family; husband Greg; children Andrew, Alyssa, and Nicole of New Germany; father Gerald Neunsinger of Bloomington; mother Margaret Neunsinger; father-in-law and mother-in-law Eugene and Doris Reich of Excelsior; sisters Nancy (Mike) Tiemeyer of Athens, GA, Janet Neunsinger, Holly Neunsinger, both of Minnetonka; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Rebecca Reich and husband Dale of Washington, and Joseph and Lori Reich of Itasca; special nephew Justin Reich; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service took place Friday June 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, with the Rev. Allan Holthus officiating. There was a gathering of family and friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
