Lyle Clarence Schesso, age 56, of Winsted, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 30, 1958, in New Prague, the son of Herman H. and Lorraine (Theis) Schesso.
Lyle grew up in Waconia, and graduated from Shakopee High School in 1976.
Lyle was joined in holy marriage with Michele M. Cuhel Sept. 26, 1987, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with three sons and a daughter from Lyle’s first marriage.
Lyle was employed with IWCO in Chanhassen for the past five years.
He enjoyed woodworking and was mechanically inclined.
Lyle loved his family and helping others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Schesso of Winsted; a daughter, Alisha (John Duerson) Schesso of Kansas; three sons: Bradley, Brandon and Brady Schesso, all of Winsted; five grandchildren: Shane, Edward, Johnathon and Tyler, and Autumn; and his mother, Lorraine Schesso of Shakopee.
He is further survived by sisters and brothers Barbara Schesso of Hopkins, Janice Schesso of Shakopee, Ron (Judy) Schesso of St. Bonifacius, Steve Schesso of Norwood/Young America, Arlene Farrell of New Prague and Monica (Bob) Rasmussen of Glencoe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Carol Cuhel of Winsted; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mark and Lisa Cuhel of Winsted, and Marcia (Norman) Geyer of Hector; nieces and nephews; his godparents, Clarence and Delores Schesso; and by other relatives and friends.
Lyle was preceded in death by his father, Herman H. Schesso, July 20, 2003; a niece, Nichel Schesso; and by a nephew, Tyler Cuhel.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with Father Paul Schumacher as the celebrant.
There was visitation Thursday, May 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Honorary casket bearers were Jamie Farrell and Corey Farrell, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Dylan Schesso.
Casket bearers were Desiree Klosterman Schesso, Tamara Schesso, Jessica Mateski, Sasha Rasmussen, Wesley Rasmussen, Angie Rasmussen, Staz Peterson, and John Duerson.
