Gerald G. “Jerry” Blowers, age 85, of Montrose, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2016.
Gerald and his wife, Evon were married 59 years and 6 days before Evon passed away Nov. 26, 2014.
Jerry had many interests, including farming and cattle, reading, trees, bees, birds, travel, politics, old tyme country music, western movies, wood working, and his kids, especially his grandkids and great- granddaughter; but most of all, spending time with his wife, Evon.
Jerry is survived by his family: Les and Clyde Dalchow, Brian Blowers, Deb and Jeff King, Andy and Jami Dalchow and Maizie, Ryan Dalchow, and Aaron Dalchow; brothers Ron and Leona Blowers, and Terry and Lora Blowers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Diane and Gary Benson, Daryl and Bonnie Lenz, and Carol Blowers; nieces, nephews, treasured cousins, and many friends.
A memorial service took place Thursday, Oct. 6 at noon at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., prior to the service.
