Bradley William Engel, age 69, of Howard Lake, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born July 19, 1946, in Cokato, to Reuben and Mae (Combs) Engel, and grew up in Howard Lake, where he graduated from Howard Lake High School.
Bradley proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was a hard worker, and took pride in his labors. Bradley drove commercially for Gambles, and later Supervalu, for many years.
He enjoyed watching the Howard Lake Orphans baseball team play on their field by Howard Lake.
Bradley is survived by LaMae Engel; children Jenifer (Alan) Lange and Chad Engel; grandchildren Nicolas (Olivia) Engel, Aleah Lange, and Jackson Lange; sister Carol (Dale) Anderson; and brother in-law David Mitchell; along with other nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Betty Mitchell, and Nancy (Carl) Wanha.
A celebration of Bradley’s life took place Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
