Robert J. Ernhart, 74

Robert John Ernhart, age 74, of rural Howard Lake, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 6, 1941, in Winsted, the son of Ambrose M. and Clara A. (Kohler) Ernhart.

Robert was joined in holy marriage with Marcy C. Kulinski Oct. 14, 1961, at St. George Catholic Church in Glencoe. God blessed their marriage with five children.

Bob was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, and belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council 8253.

He was formerly employed as a feed salesman by Hubbard Milling.

Bob was a former volunteer Winsted fireman.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses, gardening, and playing cards.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marcy C. Ernhart; five children: Michele (Greg) Troy, Christine (Jeff) Manthe, Steven (Cindy) Ernhart, John (Mary) Ernhart, and Jared (Michelle Maiers) Ernhart; and grandchildren Phil, Sophie, Seth, Nate, Peter, Bella, Olivia and Grace Troy; Neil (Stacy) Manthe, Luke, Molly and Callie Manthe; Rebecca (Joey) Heglund, Garret (Alexis) Ernhart and Nicolas Ernhart; Benjamin, Ellie and Natalie Ernhart; Taylor Ernhart and Amaya Brandt.

He is further survived by his mother, Clara A. Ernhart; brothers and sisters Raymond (Juanita) Ernhart, Marcy Peterson, Mark (Jean) Ernhart, Carol (Jim) Gierke, Stan (Jill) Ernhart, Marvin (Suzann) Ernhart, Mary Curley, and Tom (Carla) Ernhart; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marie (Clifford) Ruzicka, Sharon (Ray) Bandus, Karen Kulinski, Violet Erickson, Jerry (Jan) Kulinski, Jim Kulinski and Ed Boehlke; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and brothers-in-law sisters-in-law, Edward and Leo Kulinski, Lorraine Boehlke, infant Gerald Kulinski, and Marlene Kulinski.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with Father Paul Schumacher as the celebrant.

Visitation preceded the Mass, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A Knights of Columbus Rosary was recited at 12:15 p.m.
