Thomas Kip Halverson, age 67, of Howard Lake, died suddenly Saturday, March 12, 2016, at his home in Florida.
There will be a celebration of his life for family and friends Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at his home in Howard Lake.
Thomas was born Feb. 15, 1949, in Minneapolis, the son of James and Sara (Skogen) Halverson.
He enjoyed gardening, working on cars, auctions, garage sales, bonfires in the backyard, sunning himself in Florida, and most of all, Thomas enjoyed his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sara Halverson; a brother, Richard Halverson; and children, Kelly and Molly Halverson.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Suzie) Halverson; brother Jeff Halverson; sisters Sandy Peterson, and Anna (Patty) Perry; step-children Patrick and Cindy Jewell; grandchildren Tyler and Molly Halverson, Marie and Thomas Fisher, Nicole Murphy, Anissia Jewell, and Cassandra Werlein; great-grandsons Carson Fisher, Brecklen Pool, and Tyson Halverson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
