Joyce Jorgensen, 57

Joyce Marie (Hertzog) Jorgensen, age 57, of Winsted, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at her home.

She was born March 22, 1958, the daughter of Lambert and Rosella (Fiecke) Hertzog.

Joyce Marie and Ronald Dale Jorgensen were married April 12, 1980.

Joyce was formerly employed as a clerk at Keaveny Drug in Winsted.

She enjoyed laughing, singing, playing guitar, walking, and spending time with family and friends.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Ronald Jorgensen of Winsted; son, Joseph Jorgensen and wife Tammy of Dassel; daughter, Jennifer (Jorgensen) Tinnes and husband Chad of Iowa; son, Dan Jorgensen and fiancée Jaime LaVenture of Eagan; and son Michael Jorgensen of Silver Lake; sisters Gloria Tonak of Winsted, and Rosemary Eiden and husband Kevin of Glencoe; brother Joe Hertzog and wife Brie of Lakeville; grandchildren Joseph Rath and wife Kelly, Adam Jorgensen and wife Kimberly, Derrick Thompson, Jacob Plath, Alexandra Stutzman and husband Alexander, Isaiah Jorgensen, Kaitlyn Wurzberger and husband Dylan, Casey Tinnes, and Shawni Tinnes, eight great-grandchildren; special friends Deb Schlagel and Lori Jorgensen; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Rosella Hertzog; a nephew, Daniel Eiden; and by a brother-in-law, Owen Tonak.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with Father Paul Schumacher as the celebrant. Lavon Kielkucki was the organist for the Mass, and Bruce Gatz was the soloist.

There was visitation Tuesday morning, March 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
