Earline Robinson King, age 68, died of uterine cancer Monday, July 11, 2016, at her home in Watertown.
A memorial service to celebrate Earline’s incredible life will take place Tuesday, July 19 at 4 p.m. at the Watertown Evangelical Free Church, 509 Jefferson Ave SW, Watertown. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
Arrangements are with Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home.
Earline was born June 5, 1948, in Smithville, GA, to Orrie and Louisa (Mosley) Robinson.
A devoted third-grade school teacher, Earline had an intense love for learning, and her love for education extended to many parts of her life. She was a teacher for 30 years at Watertown-Mayer Elementary School.
Earline was a high-energy and passionate charter member of the Watertown Historical Society. She was a talented musician and creative writer, which she used to bring new, exciting, and innovative teaching styles to her third-grade classroom.
Earline had a strong, unwavering faith in God, and was a lifelong member of the Evangelical Free Church. She was committed to serving others through the church’s mission.
Earline was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, James Sr.
She is survived by her sons, James Jr., Mark, and Earl; and grandchildren Brianna and Darrian.
