Louise Leita Krause, age 62, of Long Prairie, formerly of Delano, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Louise loved her husband, three children, and six grandchildren. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and many pets.
She enjoyed listening to the sounds of her animals on the farm, talking to friends on the phone, and going to garage sales.
Louise had a witty sense of humor and a contagious smile.
Five days short of 37 years, her marriage to Eugene Krause was the perfect example of what a marriage really is. For better or worse, they loved and gave each other support and encouragement.
Louise is survived by her husband, Eugene Krause; son, Geno (Marie) Krause; daughters, Leita (Gunther) Heeb, and Elizabeth (Benjamin) Fisher; grandchildren, Jake Klim, Isaac Krause, Annabell and Jack Heeb, and Nora and Olivia Fisher; siblings, Christopher Clausen and Ruth Burandt; as well as many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Nelson; stepfather, Roger Nelson; father, Frederick Clausen; and two infant grandchildren.
A memorial service took place Saturday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Delano with the Rev. David Greaver officiating. There was visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
