Lillian (Lillie) Viola (Dalchow) Lange, age 101, of Delano, passed away Wednesday Oct. 26, 2016, at Castle Ridge Care Center in Eden Prairie.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano with the Rev. Paul Marggraf officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Watertown Public Cemetery.

Lillian was born May 8, 1915, in Princeton, the daughter of Heinrich and Olga (Jopp) Dalchow.
She was united in marriage with Claude Lange Nov. 28, 1933, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hollywood Township of Carver County.
Lillie worked at Schmitty’s Bakery in Watertown for many years alongside her sister, Lorena. She was proud to be a housewife and mother.
Lillie loved cooking and preparing for the holidays with family. She loved to taste test, especially the Christmas cookies. Lillie also loved to go dancing, senior bus trips to the casino, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Watertown Senior Citizens, and always looked forward to long weekends spent at her grandson’s home in Eden Prairie.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Heinrich and Olga Dalchow; daughter Barb Eckhoff; granddaughter Kim Eckhoff; and sisters and brothers-in-law Lorena and Dick Schmidt, and Gert and Joe Vorderbruggen.
She is survived by her grandson, Wade (Michelle) Eckhoff of Eden Prairie; great-grandchildren Alanna (Jeremy) Homa, Chandra Brouelette, Austin Eckhoff, and Briana Eckhoff; great-great-grandchildren Henry and Dinah Homa; son-in-law Lou Eckhoff of Delano; and other relatives and friends.
