Clarence Levi Rudquist, age 94, of Dassel, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the Augustana Lakeside Health Care Center of Dassel.
He was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Cokato Township, the son of William and Ella (Larson) Rudquist. Clarence grew up in the Kingston area.
He worked as a farmhand, and later operated a lawn mowing business with his brothers, mowing lawns around the Dassel area.
Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and was a good-natured person who always enjoyed talking to people.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Willard, Fred, Gilbert, Edward, Howard, Mabel Heino, Delores Camp, Gladys Grossel, and a young brother, Kenneth.
A graveside service took place Saturday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at the Lake Union Covenant Cemetery, rural South Haven, with the Rev. Orval Wirrkala officiating.
Arrangements were with the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel.
