Lenore Ann Brown, 77, of Cokato, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, in her home, surrounded by family.
She was born Nov. 12, 1939, in St. Paul.
Lenore graduated from Cloquet High School.
She was married to Russell Brown Dec. 23, 1957.
Lenore worked a wide variety of jobs including being a travel agent, a bookkeeper, and most recently, a parts delivery driver for Holt Motors of Cokato.
She enjoyed photography, gardening, and crafting. Her most cherished hobby was quilting for Quilts of Valor. She took great pride in quilts that were awarded to veterans.
Lenore is survived by her husband, Russell Brown; children Barbra Peterson (Ford), Lori DeAntoni, James Brown (Melanie), and Sheri Hoyhtya (Kenneth); grandchildren Renee Kruger (TK), Jennifer Todnem (Derrick), Samantha Peterson (Aaron), Nic Brown, Eloise Brown, and Deangelo DeAntoni; great-grandchildren Makenna Todnem, and Kaden Todnem; and her brother, Kenneth Gustafson (Rebecca).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Hulda Gustafson.
A memorial service took place Monday, July 10 at 1 p.m. at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato, with visitation an hour prior to the service.
