Michael D. Krueger, age 68, of St. Louis Park, formerly of Delano, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at The Villa at St. Louis Park.
He was born July 18, 1949, in Watertown, to Edward and Eleanor (Splettstoeszer) Krueger.
Mike married Carol Brown July 9, 2000.
He was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hope; and a past commander of Delano Legion Post 377.
Mike loved fishing, and also enjoyed golfing, tennis, goose hunting, and playing board games and cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Sandra; and nephews Stephen and Eric Krueger.
Mike is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Carol; step-daughter Kim (Jeff) Huberty; sister Darlene (Duane) Engelman; and brothers Edward, Jr. “Norm,” Donald (Judy), and Stan Krueger.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano. There was visitation Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, and continued Wednesday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
Inurnment with military honors by Delano American Legion Post 377 will take place at a later date in the East Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
