Timothy Dean Warden Jr., age 21, of Winsted, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Dassel.
He was born July 10, 1995, in Litchfield, the son of Timothy Dean Warden and Lucinda Rose Spike.
Timothy attended elementary school in Hutchinson, and graduated from the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School in June 2013.
Timothy was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly Jan. 28, 1996.
Timothy had made his home in several places, but mainly resided in Winsted. After graduating from high school, he had made his home in St. Cloud, Winsted, Milaca, Litchfield, and Brainerd, before moving back to Winsted.
Timothy loved to spend time with his family and hang out with friends. He was very artistic and was talented in many types of artistic endeavors. He could often be found cruising along on his long board, spending time with his dog, horseback riding, four-wheeling, and fishing.
Timothy was always attuned to other people’s feelings. He was a wonderful, brother, grandson, nephew, and son, who will be missed.
Timothy is survived by his mother, Lucinda Staye of Dassel; father, Timothy (Heidi) Warden of Waverly; siblings Cody Jones of Waverly, Darian Miller-Carpenter of Milaca, Mason Staye, and Emily Staye, both of Dassel; maternal grandmother, Barbara Spike of Dassel; and paternal grandmother, Cheryl Skubitz of Buffalo.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Spike; and paternal grandfather, Dean Warden.
A memorial service took place Friday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel with Fr. Joseph A. Steinbeisser officiating. Interment of the urn will take place at a later date.
There was a time to gather with the family Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service Friday morning.
