Phedon Anderson, 22

Phedon Wynne Anderson, age 22, of Concord, NC, formerly of St. Cloud, died Monday, April 9, 2018, in Waite Park, MN.

A memorial service will take place Monday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel with the Rev. Laurie O’Shea officiating.

There will be a one-hour time to gather with the family prior to the service at the church.

The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Memorials are preferred to go to the National Alliance of Mental Illness.

Phedon was born Dec. 7, 1995, in St. Cloud, the daughter of Steven and Jennifer (Rannow) Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Cathedral of Saint Mary in St. Cloud.

Phedon grew up in the St Cloud area, and graduated from the Sauk Rapids Rice High School.

She was active, vibrant, outgoing, spunky, and soft-hearted. Phedon had a sparkle to her and enjoyed dressing up. She loved her cats and animals. She was naturally talented musically, loved singing, and Cantabile.

Phedon had started an online support group for Ehlers-Danlos Disorder, and would reach out to others and give encouragement when needed. She loved her family and always enjoyed getting together for family events and holidays.

She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Anderson of St. Cloud; father, Steven (Gina) Anderson of Becker; brothers Rory Anderson of Bangkok Thailand, and Simon Anderson of St. Cloud; sisters Jody Hayes of Clearwater, and Amanda Holman of St. Cloud; fiancé, Sean Ryan of Concord, NC; a special sister/friend, Sarah Cox of Concord, NC; maternal grandmother, Janis Rannow of Hutchinson; maternal grandfather, Bob (Nyla) Woetzel of Hewitt; maternal grandparents, Dale (Jodi) Rannow of Ottertail; maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Ostlund of Dassel; and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Phedon was preceded in death by her sister, Ariana; paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Anderson; and her maternal great-grandfather, James Ostlund.
