Jerald D. “Jerry” Barrick, 61, of Litchfield died Monday Oct. 8 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 13, at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Jerry, the son of James and Gladys (Lindgren) Barrick was born Sept. 18, 1957 in Litchfield. He graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School in 1975, and was united in marriage to Nina Vega Nov. 28, 1977 in Litchfield.
After 37 years of service, Jerry recently retired from 3M. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, waterskiing, camping, snowmobiling, electronics, doing dishes, watching western movies, being at the lake soaking up the sun, family trips with his mother and sisters, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Nina of Litchfield; children Joshua (Jina) Barrick of Shakopee, Jerod Barrick of Litchfield, and Jonathan (Kelsey) Barrick of Spicer; grandchildren Jordon, Jackson, Jetta, Breck, Lundon, McCoy, Ecko and Nani; and sisters Judy Jeannie, Jocelyn and Jennifer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys, and a brother Jim Barrick.
Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service of Litchfield.
