Patricia L. Bebo, 78

Patricia “Patti” Louise Bebo, age 78, of Lester Prairie, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, with Father Tony Stubeda as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted.

There was visitation Thursday, Dec. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with a CCW Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., and parish prayers at 6 p.m. Further visitation will take place at the funeral home Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Honorary casket bearers are Cassie Krukow and Ashley Eury.

Casket bearers will be Justin Bebo, Darrin Bebo, Dillon Benz, Brandon Bebo, Alex Bebo, and Tom Bebo.

Patricia was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Fred and Viola (Swedlund) Speiser.

She was a 1958 graduate of Glencoe High School. After graduation, Patti became a bank teller, and then a dairy farmer’s wife and homemaker after she married Kenneth Bebo. The family raised dogs; Pomeranians, Shelties and collies.

Patti was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary daily. She was active at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, serving for funeral luncheons and cleaning the church. She was baptized in the Catholic faith, and confirmed at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Glencoe.

Patricia and Kenneth William Bebo were united in holy marriage June 17, 1961, at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Glencoe. The two were blessed with three children.

Patti enjoyed animals – especially cats and dogs; coloring in adult coloring books, watching Hallmark movies and soap operas, mowing the lawn, bus tours to casinos with her friends, and spending time at lady gatherings with her friends after becoming a widow.

She was the best canner, pickle maker, cook, and baker; and even gave out her last batch of “Grandma’s Christmas Cookies” to her family this Thanksgiving.

Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Bebo; and parents, Fred Speiser and Viola Speiser Bebo.

She is survived by her children, Doug Bebo, Debbie (David) Benz, and Kimberly Bebo; grandchildren Cassie (Ben) Krukow, Justin Bebo, Ashley (Colin) Eury, Darrin (Kate) Bebo, Dillon Benz, Brandon Bebo and Alex Bebo; great-grandchildren Courtney Krukow, Trypp Eury, Braxton Krukow, Titus Eury, Tate Eury and Elle Bebo; a brother, Eugene Speiser; her at, Zoey; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
