Lavone was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Dassel, to Martin and Minnie Broberg.
She was proud of having graduated from the old West High in 1944, and worked 52 years at what became Marquette Bank.
Lavone golfed, bowled, was always in style and “dressed to the nines.”
She was a loyal member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.
The last of her generation, Lavone was preceded in death by her sisters, Delores, Harriet, and Janet; and her brother, Wally.
She is survived by her beloved nephews, Dan Broberg (Susan), Marty, Nick, Danny, and Caleigh; Sam Broberg (Bridgett), Alex, Tyler, and Zack; and Harris Halverson (Sharon), Blake and Paige; and a cadre of cousins who esteemed her as “auntie.”
