Danny B. Buesgens, age 51, of Delano, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, Jan. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church (4025 Main Street) in St. Bonifacius, with Father Joseph-Quoc T. Vuong as celebrant of the Mass. Interment will be at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
There was visitation Thursday, Jan. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, and visitation will continue Friday one hour prior to the Mass.
Casket bearers will be Delbert Meyer, Bob Sullivan, Mike Kirsch, Brad Heyer, David Swanson, Bryan Buesgens, Brent Buesgens, Steve VanLith, and Kurt Schutte.
Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
Danny was born Sept. 26, 1966, in Watertown, the son of Bernard and Frances R. (Green) Buesgens. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Danny put his family first at all times, taking care of his mother with whatever she needed to have done. He was a wonderful godfather to his niece, Alyssa, always willing to do anything for her.
Danny had a special place in his heart for all of the kids that came into his life.
He loved to go hunting, fishing, and motorcycling whenever he had the opportunity.
Danny really liked his present job with the Chaska school system.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Buesgens; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Danny is survived by his loving family: mother Frances Buesgens of St. Bonifacius; sister Maria (Danny) Swanson of Hamburg; niece and goddaughter Alyssa Swanson and special friend Blake Nelson of Roseville; significant other, Windy Sky Schutrop; aunts Janet Buesgens of Cologne, and Grace Buesgens of Belle Plaine; godparents Danny Dressen and Sharon McKnight; family friend Monica Dressen of St. Bonifacius; other relatives and friends; and his dogs, Darby and Joey.
