Richard “Dick” H. Hackbarth, age 79, of Buffalo, died peacefully Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Annandale Care Center.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, with Pastor Bill Reinhart officiating.
Arrangements are with The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
Dick was born Sept. 9, 1938, and raised in Cokato.
He worked at Columbus Exteriors for many years, and later owned his own H & H Construction Company.
Dick enjoyed his work in construction, and playing cards; and he loved his cats.
Richard Hackbarth and Phyllis (Maslowski) Corey were united in marriage July 25, 1992.
Dick is survived by his wife of 26 years, Phyllis, of Buffalo; children, Dale (Jackie) Corey of Monticello, and Sandy (Fred) Mosher of Buffalo; his five children from a previous marriage; many grandchildren; and his brother, Dwight Hackbarth.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
