Richard “Dick” Harold Hackbarth, age 79, of Buffalo, died peacefully Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Annandale Care Center.
He was born Sept. 9, 1938, and raised in Cokato.
Dick worked at Columbus Exteriors for many years, and later owned RHH Inc. Construction.
He enjoyed his work in construction, and playing cards, and he loved his cats.
Dick was united in marriage to Phyllis (Maslowski) Corey July 25, 1992.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Phyllis, of Buffalo; children, Dale (Jackie) of Monticello, and Sandy (Fred) Mosher of Buffalo; five children from a previous marriage; many grandchildren; and a brother, Dwight Hackbarth.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings.
A memorial service took place Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, with Pastor Bill Reinhart officiating. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
Honorary urn bearer was Jessica Lynn Corey.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
